Pedestrian_Made Knives

Each of my knives is a one-of-a-kind piece that has been designed for function first, with a feel and beauty that inspires you to pick it up and use it!

All of these knives have fine blades. They are also very sharp and should hold an edge for a long time between sharpenings. The kitchen knives are designed for slicing of vegetables and meats - not chopping bone! Heavy use like chopping and/or boning could damage the blade. All knives come with a wooden travel case or leather sheath that protects the blade during travel. It is recommended not to store knives long term in the wooden or leather sheaths.

These knives are made of high carbon steel and do require some care. They are NOT stainless steel blades. The blade will patina over time - this is part of the character. Most of my handles are wood. Wood also requires some care.

Do not leave the knife to soak in water and never wash in a dishwasher- this goes for any nice knife! If rust develops after getting wet, simply scrub it off. I recommend washing and drying by hand immediately after each use. Oil the handle occasionally to restore the luster and to protect the wood. Keep the blade sharp for best performance. I will sharpen the blade for two years from the purchase date (for free) if you get the knife to me and pick it up.

Warrantee: I stand by the workmanship of this knife. If the knife fails to perform under normal circumstances, or develops any problems due to workmanship within 2 years of purchase, I will make any necessary repairs, adjustments, or replace the knife in order to rectify the issue. Sheaths are not included in the warrantee.
