Loose - Fitting Architecture
Around 10 years ago I was making prints from mail catalogs, magazines, and junk mail along with adding other ink work and drawing to create these ink collage pieces. The first group of these I self-published in a book using an online service and printed a stack of copies. But I had another series that I made in a 9” x 24” format and had been working on laying out a book that I wanted to print myself and bind with thread in a Japanese style. Well, I finally got around to finishing the book and did a run of 12 copies! I’m definitely motivated to do another one at some point, and even a second printing. Bookmaking is fun and photocopy machines have improved so much that the quality is really good. I have some of these left if you are interested.
5 3/4” x 8” with sewn Japanese-style binding - 52 pages total - printed in black and white.
