Leazar Hall Addition, Facing Court of the Carolinas

A few years ago the renovation and addition to Leazar Hall on the NCSU campus was completed. Raleigh-based Cannon Architects did the design work for the historical campus building which houses design school studios and the design shop. It's very clear what is old and new, and I think both architectural vocabularies work well together. The additions mainly house circulation elements for egress and accessibility, while the full interior renovation makes for some nice, naturally lit studio spaces.
